Avocados

Avocados which originated in South Central Mexico have long been a staple across Latin America.  Once deemed exotic Avocados have now become highly demanded across the world, used in food and beverages and the cosmetic industry.

Bamboo

Often misclassified as a tree Bamboo is in fact a grass. Bamboos are of notable economic and cultural significance across Asia, being used as food source, for clothing and building materials. Bamboos unique characteristics also make it an ideal alternative fuel source.

Durian

Durian is known as the “King of Fruits” throughout Southeast Asia and is one of the world’s most unique fruits. Durian is distinctive for its large size, thorn covering, odor and notable flavor. Specifically, the Musang King breed of Durian is highly regarded and one of the most valuable and fastest growing export crops in the world.

Guava

Although Guava is native to Central and South America they are today widely grown across Asia and Southern Europe. Gauvas are traditionally eaten raw as a fruit or produced into beverages. Gauuvas are also used extensively to make candies, jams and marmalade.

Hydroponics

Hydroponics is the future of farming. It is a method of growing plants indoor without soil that utilizes technology to ensure optimal growing conditions. Farms can be located anywhere because temperature, humidity, light, water and plant nutrients are all provided in a controlled environment to produce fast-growing, healthy plants.

Mangos

Having originated in South Asia, Mangos have now become one of the most widely cultivated fruits in the tropics. They are generally sweet, although the taste and texture of the flesh varies across cultivars. Mangos are eaten raw and widely used in cuisine, juices, ice creams and sweets.
